Review: Yoga For Athletes – Yoga with Image
Hi Claire here,
I am no Athlete, So this only goes to prove that Yoga for Athletes is not only for Athletes. I only started yoga a couple of months ago, and found its benefits so unbelievable that I need to share this with you. We’ve all heard at some or other time that its good for you, but when do you actually decide to take action and do something about it.
By the time I reached 50, I was feeling aches and pains here and there, especially my back. I was power walking every morning, in the past all my aches and pains disappeared once I started walking. But it didn’t seem to help any more. Finally I went to a Doctor had an x ray, and discovered that I had a problem at my L4-5 lower back . The Doctor prescribed physiotherapy. I took myself off to Yoga lessons. At the advice of Lisa Hattem (below)
The yoga lessons where Once a week and I found that it wasn’t enough so we search the Internet and found Runners Yoga ( not only for runners) a 30 minute yoga program that was excellent for me to do at home alone.
Runners yoga came with a guarantee that if I wasn’t satisfied I would be refunded so I went ahead and tried it. Two months later I was A different Person, Any one living with pain will know that once its gone your feel like you’ve concurred the world.

Disadvantages of Runners Yoga
Yoga might not be for you. When I first started out , my whole body hurt after a lesson. My back was killing me. This alone was an indication for me to stop. But I had started and knew that I had to give it more of an effort. So the only advice I can give is: take it slow it will improve.
Heal old Injuries. Improve your range of motion, your focus, and your physical performance
Make you Calmer, Stronger and more confident.
Help you dramatically cut down your Visits to a chiropractor and physiotherapist. Reduce the amounts of massages you feel you might need.
